Plants vs. Zombies: Simulation Universe Edition is a mobile card-based tower defense strategy game inspired by the universe of Plants vs. Zombies and the tactical combat elements of Honkai: Star Rail. In the game, players plant defensive units to protect their territory from waves of increasingly powerful zombies while building effective team strategies to secure victory.

This edition introduces redesigned plant visuals and enhanced abilities. Each plant features unique characteristics that open up new tactical possibilities. For instance, Frog-nut can generate a protective shield for nearby plants based on its own defense stats, while Gatling Gunner fires four fire-attribute bullets with every attack.

Players must choose four plants to form their combat team. Depending on their position in the lineup, each plant can be planted between two and five times during a battle, allowing for flexible strategic setups.

The game also features six different worlds, each containing multiple planes and islands. Players must defeat the boss of the previous plane to progress to the next stage. In addition, systems such as blessings, events, and artifacts introduce both positive and negative effects, adding depth, unpredictability, and excitement to the gameplay experience.
